Rivers to be dredged

Local authorities published a list of 32 downtown rivers to be dredged before the end of April.
The Hangzhou River Improvement Commission said the dredging of Beitang River, Xiatang River, Shiqiao River, Nanyingjia River and other rivers can greatly improve water quality and increase flood discharge.
Meanwhile, workers will beautify river banks and install lights to create a more pleasant night view for tourists and locals.
