Thirty-one major infrastructure projects have been completed and another 54 are still under construction, the Hangzhou Construction Commission said.
With the completion of 16 road projects this June, the city’s expressways will total more than 180 kilometers. Five of them have already been opened to traffic, including the third and fourth phases of Qiushi Expressway, the first phase of Donghu Road, the underpass of Huancheng Road N. and Wenhui Road Interchange.
The construction commission is overseeing 85 infrastructure projects scheduled for completion before the G20 summit 2016 in Hangzhou in early September.
