THE Annual Hangzhou Asian Film Festival is inviting young Asian directors to submit short films through to July 15.
The festival, run by a young team of Hangzhou graduates, was founded five years ago and it has grown every year, receiving increasing international recognition. Last year the festival received 483 short films from 28 countries and regions.
The festival features a competition with four awards, several film exhibitions, forums and conventions.
Competition winners will receive cash awards first time in the festival's history.
