Sina moves headquarters

SINA Group, owner of the popular Twitter-like Weibo microblogging service, signed an agreement with the Intelligent Internet Valley Town in Gongshu District to move its online service headquarters to the area.
The leading Chinese portal Sina Group plans to move its five core services to Gongshu District, including the news portal, wireless service, interactive community, corporate service and e-commerce sectors. The group also plans to relocate its Weibo service to the Intelligent Internet Valley Town in the future.
Its Weibo microblogging service covers video and live streaming.
With a land area of around 250 standard soccer fields, the Intelligent Internet Valley Town is in the north of the city beside the Grand Canal, near the intersection of Shixiang Road and Gongkang Road.
