Spectacles here to stay

SPECTACULAR light shows created along the Qiantang River and in the West Lake area for the G20 Summit will become a regular treat.

A musical fountain and 3D light show in Wulin Square comes alive every night from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. An additional musical fountain will be turned on during weekends until 9pm.

Qianjiang New Town now presents three light show rounds every night between 6:30pm and 8:30pm. High-rise buildings along the Qiantang River will light up with dynamic images at 7:30pm and 8:30pm before a regular schedule is set, according to the Qian­jiang New Town Administration.

Landscape lights at the Hangzhou Public Service Center, Hangzhou Grand Theater, Hangzhou Interna­tional Convention Center and City Balcony overlooking the Qiantang River are also turned on every night from 7pm to 10pm. A musical foun­tain in the West Lake near Hubin Road comes alive at 7pm and 8pm for a 15-minute display each time.
