The second phase of Metro Line 6 will add a new Asian Games Village Station at the crossing of Weisan and Jinyi roads in the Qianjiang Century City.
The plan, published by the Hangzhou Planning Bureau on its website, has sparked speculation that the Asian Games Village will be set up in the Qianjiang Century City.
Thus the second phase of Metro Line 6 will have six stations instead of the original five stations. The six stations include Sanbao Station, Tanhua鈥檃n Road W. Station, Genshan Road Station, East Railway Station Station, Airport Road Station and the new Asian Games Village Station.
The first phase of the Metro Line 6, currently under construction, links Zhijiang New Town with Qianjiang Century CBD. The south-north subway is 26 kilometers long with 19 stations from Shuangpu Station in Zhijiang New Town to Fengbei Station in the Qianjiang Century City.
The first phase is due to open in 2020 and the second phase in 2021.
