Suggestions solicited

Hangzhou Mayor Zhang Hongming has written to Hangzhou residents to solicit opinions and suggestions for government initiatives in 2017.
“Last year the city government received more than 2,600 suggestions from the public. We embarked on 40 projects to benefit residents, and these will be completed by year end,” he wrote.
Zhang explained that the government is now soliciting suggestions for 2017 initiatives in newspapers, TV, the Internet, and new media, and will select projects that address issues that most concern the public.
Opinions and suggestions should be sent to the Municipal Office of Public Opinions at 18 Jiefang Road E. by mail or by fax to (0571) 8525-3231 or by posting a message on official websites (www.hangzhou.gov.cn, www.hzxf12345.gov.cn, or hwyst.hangzhou.com.cn).
