Terminal 3 progress
A new terminal will open its doors at Xiaoshan International Airport in the fourth quarter of this year.
Terminal 3 will add 51 airplane docks to the airport, boosting total docking capacity to 112.
The airport authority has not set the exact date when operations will start at Terminal 3.
In addition, the airport's second runway will be completed in the second quarter of this year. It will be able to accommodate the world's largest commercial passenger jet, the Airbus A380.
The additional facilities will mean more flights and less delays, the East China Aviation Administration said.

Find jobs on TV
Citizens can get the latest employment policy and recruitment information on television beginning this week, a first in the country.
The Hangzhou Human Resource Network (www.hzjob.com.cn) was launched recently and recruitment information is available on both its website and on Wasu TV, a digital TV operator.
Companies can release job adverts through the website while people can look for jobs on the Internet as well as on TVs that subscribe to Wasu.
Solar power boost
Wanxiang Photovoltaic Power Station, the largest photovoltaic power station in Zhejiang Province, was recently incorporated into the State Grid network.
Located at Wanxiang No. 3 Industrial Park, the power project covers 28,000 square meters at a cost of 65 million yuan (US$10.33 million).
The station generates about 3 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually, enough for over 2,000 households.
Zhejiang receives plenty of sunshine annually and is therefore a good location for promoting solar photovoltaic technology.
Cows run amok
Bewildered cows ran along an expressway near Hangzhou on Monday morning after the truck transporting them overturned in heavy rain.
The accident happened about 1 kilometer from Xiaoshan Service Area along the Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou Expressway. The truck bumped into a roadside railing, turned 180 degrees on the slippery road and flipped over at 7:30am. The cows were scattered across the road, a man surnamed Yang from Hangzhou said.
"I was astonished to see cows on the highway," Yang said.
Two cows ran to the middle of the highway and stopped, another two ran crazily along the expressway while the others tried to jump out of the truck trailer. Four men emerged from the cab of the truck and tried to catch the cows, Yang added.
Policemen arrived at the scene at 7:47am and herded the cows to the service area in about 20 minutes.
Four cows with serious injuries to their hooves had to be removed from the trailer with a crane as each weighed about 500 kilograms.
The accident backed up traffic for 3 kilometers. Traffic returned to normal at around 10:30am.
The truck was en route from Heilongjiang Province to Jinhua City in Zhejiang Province, said the truck driver, who was slightly injured in the accident.
