Traffic load to be lifted soon

All the elevated roads and ramps of Zijingang Interchange have been put into place at the intersection of Wenyi Road W. and Zijingang Road.
It has long been claimed as the most complicated interchange in the city, as it is the first interchange with both elevated roads and tunnels in eastern China, and the ramps connecting the interchange in six directions. The main elevated road from north to south was opened to traffic on August 10, 2016.
The multi-level interchange started its construction in 2015 and is scheduled for opening by the end of this year. After its full opening, the interchange is expected to ease the traffic burden in the west of the city.
