PASSENGERS can book train tickets 11 days in advance from Wednesday, according to railway authorities.
The change comes days before a new train schedule will go into effect on Sunday. The train schedule was adjusted as the State Council, China's cabinet, ordered a slowdown of the country's high-speed train services on August 10 to ensure safety after a bullet train collision killed 40 people and injured nearly 200 on July 23 in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province.
Passengers can dial (0571) 9510-5105 to book tickets or get more information.
