West Lake University plans

Construction of West Lake University is expected to start in October and be completed by 2021.
The university has invited top Chinese scientists to form an advisory committee, including Nobel laureate Chen-Ning Yang, Han Qide and Chen Jia’er, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Meanwhile, Beihang University in Beijing decided to set up its Innovation Research Institute in Hangzhou’s Binjiang District. The construction of the institute is expected to be completed in 2020 and enroll up to 2,500 students.
