White tigers debut
FOUR rare white tiger cubs made their debut at Hangzhou Zoo on Sunday.
Currently there are less than 200 white tigers worldwide - mainly in the United States, India, the United Kingdom and China.
Since the cubs were born almost three months ago, their seven-year-old mom has been very protective and kept her brood away from people - including zoo keepers - who have watched their progress through a monitoring system.
The cubs - two males and two females - now eat 5 kilograms of chicken and beef a day. And zoo keepers will add another 5 kilograms of food after every 15 days.
The cubs are especially active around noon when they often play with branches, bite each other's tails and swing. They also enjoy music very much. They now weigh around 15 kilograms and are around 75 centimeters long.
