Yuhang targets talent
Yuhang District government signed cooperation agreements with 10 colleges on Monday at the ceremony of 3rd Talent Awards in the district.
The 10 colleges include Zhejiang University, China Academy of Art, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and Zhejiang University of Technology. Among them, China Academy of Art will set up its branch campus in Liangzhu area of Yuhang, and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University plans to set up its fashion school in Yuhang Economic and Development Zone.
Yuhang District government plans to attract 100,000 college graduates, 100 national-level professionals and 1,000 high-level innovation projects in the next five years.
For college graduates, the district will provide subsidies from 30,000 yuan (US$4,545) to 80,000 yuan to help them settle in. Yuhang plans to spend 600 million yuan every year to attract professionals and help them settle in the district.
