Zhejiang kids’ choir

The first children’s choir in Zhejiang Province that will only sing English-language songs is recruiting members, said Zhu Hai, art director of the choir.

Zhu said Millan Sachania from Cambridge University will be the artistic director and David Ridley, also a Briton, will be the choir’s conductor.

The children’s choir is anticipated to have 200 members aged 10 to 17 who would receive training in vocal music, the English language and etiquette.

The new children’s choir plans to join a European music festival next summer, led by its conductor, Ridley.
