Zong's still richest

ZONG Qinghou, the 67-year-old owner of the Hangzhou-based beverage maker Wahaha Group, remains the richest person on the Chinese mainland, with assets totaling US$11.6 billion, Forbes magazine reported this week.
A record 1,426 people around the world made the magazine's latest annual count of billionaires, up 16 percent from last year. Their average net worth stood at US$3.8 billion, 3 percent more than in 2012.
