Holiday doesn’t hold Changning officials back from monitoring duties

CHANGNING officials were on the frontline over the recent Spring Festival holiday as they visited volunteers and public employees working through the period and made sure that the ban on fireworks and firecrackers was being stringently enforced.
The district officials went to the Changning District Grid Management Center as well. They greeted staff on emergency duty from various department and neighborhood committees through video conference.
After listening to a report on staff attendance during the Spring Festival, the officials wasted no time in checking the district’s management and control systems.
Their first stop was the Longemont Shopping Mall.
At the mall, officials investigated the state of the place’s fire protection systems and other maintenance procedures.
Next, officials visited the Changning Fire Squadron. They expressed their gratitude to firefighters and listened to a report on fire protection in the district during the holidays.
Then at the Subdistrict Administration Office on Tianshan Road, officials listened to a report on staff attendance during the holidays and shared their well-wishes with workers on duty.
After that, they visited the Hongqiao Huating residential area, expressed their gratitude to police and security volunteers and wished them a happy lunar New Year.
In addition, district officials went to the command center of the Changning District Public Security Sub-Bureau. They thanked the police officers on duty and listened to a report on management and control work in the district.
They also paid pre-holiday visits to the Xianxia Road police station, the Xianyi residential area, Gaojie Sanitation, the Xianxia Road urban management squad and the Changning armed police maneuver squad.
