Housekeeping expo in Gubei

The 2nd Shanghai Housekeeping Services Expo was held from October 10 to 11 at the Gubei area of Changning District.
The event touched on policies regarding home services and registration of professional housekeepers, while also providing plenty of opportunities for face-to-face talks among experts. Nearly 100 housekeeping agencies gathered at the event to promote their services. Professionals and academics answered questions on problems and policies in the housekeeping business.
The municipal women’s federation said the government will make efforts to register as many as 120,000 professional housekeepers, in order to bolster the credibility of their services.
The expo also saw well-trained housekeepers from Gansu Province join the Shanghai market, where local demand for housekeeping services continues to grow.
