Outpatient building opens after renovation

Tong Ren Hospital’s outpatient building reopened in January after being closed 13 months for renovations.
The hospital is affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s School of Medicine and has two locations in Changning District — one on Xianxia Road and the other on Yuyuan Road. The renovated outpatient building is at the former.
The building now has a color-coded system to represent each floor and make it easier for patients and visitors to find the right departments.
Cashiers are on each floor.
The layout of offices and departments is also different to reduce the amount of time spent going from one to another.
For example, the second floor hosts internal medicine, ECG, ultrasound and clinical laboratory while the orthopedics and radiology departments are both on the third floor.
