Plenty of fun at tourism festival
Plenty of varieties have been availed across Changning during the annual Shanghai Tourism Festival which concluded over the last weekends.
But the Hongqiao Autumn Art Festival, a key part of the district’s annual tourism festival, is still underway and will run through late November.
A dazzling variety of activities are featured this year including street performances, an art market, music festivals and food fairs. More than 50 performances and 10 exhibitions are on show.
An Italian themed exhibition at Takashimaya department store is one of the highlights. Visitors will see a replica of a Venetian gondola and a vintage Vespa scooter.
Elsewhere in the district, Zhongshan Park hosted an art market while art troupes from Holland, the United Kingdom and other countries performed on the lawn during the tourism festival.
