Video chat facilities to assist seniors
The Changning District Notary Office last month launched remote video consultation service in an effort to provide more efficient service to residents, especially those who are unable to come to the office in person.
At the end of 2014, when the district’s notary office was gathering suggestions from residents while upgrading its official website, some of them suggested it add the video consultation service that can help the seniors.
Now residents seeking consultation over legal matters regarding notary can connect with officers via video chat instead of going to the justice office.
The technicians are working on setting up chat rooms in every neighborhood community.
Keeping in mind the schedule of most seniors, the remote video service will be available from 9am to 11am and between 2pm and 4pm in the afternoon on weekdays excluding public holidays.
