10 years of positive transmutation

TRANSMUTATION is a process of undergoing a change, inspired by certain forces that spark a reaction, and emerging again in a new form. It's a moment of growing up, and it is as painful as it is beautiful.
It has been 10 years since the establishment of Shanghai International Automobile City. This is not a long time for a city, but the many changes that have taken place show no sign of stopping. Modern high-rises, beautiful parks and faddish automobile museums have risen from the old factory areas; golf courses and the F1 Circuit have been established on empty land. The city appears modern and beautiful, vigorous and charming from the inside.
Scottish novelist A. J. Cronin said: "Life is not a straight corridor that allows us to travel freely; life is a maze that we have to find a way out on our own. We are continually faced with difficulties and obstacles in the maze, and no one can forever show us where to go. We are the only ones to encourage ourselves to explore, and we are also the only ones to cause hesitation. Only when we keep learning, concluding, accepting and adjusting can we find the true value of our lives."
I think this is probably the process of transmutation.
Throughout the 10 years of Automobile City, many people have experienced the painful transmutation from a student to an employee, from youth to adulthood, from the process of adopting new environment and improving themselves … However, only after the painful transmutation, can we be able to enjoy the thrill of achievement and become matured. Maybe this is the original motivation for human beings to keep moving forward.
A decade, or only one time's transmutation, is not enough for a city's development. Now, Shanghai International Automobile City is in a new process of transmutation. The new round of change will involve the combination of industrialization and urbanization, the construction of research and development centers and the promotion of new energy automobile demonstration zone, and so on.
