A PASSAT that rolled off the assembly line at SAIC Volkswagen plant recently was the 14 millionth car made by Volkswagen since it entered the Chinese market in October, 1984. The company has six plants in Anting, Nanjing, Urumchi and Changsha and a service network of over 1,700 stations across the nation.
