A world of peonies at Guyi Garden

THE 2016 Peony Show opened at Guyi Garden earlier this month with more than 110 varieties of peony flowers from China and abroad on display.
In addition to flowers growing in the ground and pots, there are also creative landscape designs incorporating environmentally-friendly elements by covering abandoned cars and bicycles with flowers.
Guyi Garden has prepared activities for visitors and there is an exhibition of porcelain decorated with peony patterns and characters from Kunqu Opera “The Peony Pavilion.” There are also lecturews on horticulture and gardening.
