AMORE Pacific Cosmetics (Shanghai) Co Ltd started construction of its new factory and R&D center in Malu Town on November 28. The new facility will cost 300 million yuan and cover a land area of 90,000 square meters. Amore Pacific is the largest cosmetics group in South Korea. It set up its office and manufacturing facility in Malu in 2001 and has seen revenue grow 50 percent annually since then.
