EASTERN Europe is a paradise for art lovers. Historic and beautiful scenes are everywhere - Vienna, "the City of Music;" Salzburg, where the movie "The Sound of Music" was shot; and Budapest, where the Danube runs through the city.
In Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, Prague Castle, St Vitus Cathedral, the Charles Bridge and the Prague Astronomical Clock take visitors on a journey into the past.
Zhang Peihua, a Jiading native painter, toured Eastern Europe and created a series of artworks on the architecture, streets and culture of this land.
Here, we can appreciate these scenes and how the artist has interpreted them.
