DELPHI Packard Electric Co Ltd in Jiading will provide spare parts, including dynamical electronic components, high pressure electronic components and multifunctional antennas for Coda Automotive Co, which plans to market four types of electric cars later this year.

Newegg.com won the title of the most influential electronic commercial B2C website of China at the 2010 New Media Innovation Conference. The conference was held to honor all forms of new media innovations related to technology, branding innovation, content, marketing and management.
AA honor
Shanghai ZF Transmission Co Ltd won designation as an AA enterprise recently, becoming the eighth company from this district to be so classified. Others with the designation are Fujitsu and Sapa Heat. The designation will provide the company with certain facilities at Customs.

The Second Shanghai Electronics Show, held in Shanghai Electronic Mall in Jiading, opened recently, attracting 400 top companies from Zhejiang Province, Jiangsu Province and Shanghai. Shanghai Electronic Mall is the biggest electronic product wholesale market in East China.
Wal-Mart
Wal-Mart, the retail giant, has signed the contract to locate a store in the Tianlin Commercial Square in Malu Town, becoming the first of its kind there. The store, due to open at the end of the year, will be part of a complex that also includes a Ausotel Hotel and 50 other outlets.

Yuehe International Square in Cao'an Commercial Town held a signing ceremony to mark new investment on June 26. Construction of an urban complex that includes offices, shops, entertainment and restaurants will be completed in 2012.

Shanghai Ximate Manufacturing Co Ltd has developed a new type of organic garbage processor designed to reduce carbon emissions. The machine is undergoing review by the Japanese Environment Protecting Authority and is expected to be sold there soon with a shipment of 500.

About 50 companies from Beijing expressed interest in possible investment in the development of Xuhang at a conference in Beijing on July 2. Among entities participating in the conference, China Construction Electric Coalition, the China Construction Energy-Saving Coalition and Beijing Feibi Fashion Media Co Ltd signed the letters of intent.
