THE Chinese Academy of Sciences Shanghai Branch plans to build apartments in Jiading Industrial Zone for technology professionals. The project, which broke ground on November 26, will cover 3.5 hectares and have nine apartment buildings with 1,080 apartments, ancillary space of 2,642 square meters and an underground construction area of 1.4 hectares.
