Klaus Hartig, chairman of Fuchs Lubricants Corporate Management (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Fuchs Lubricants (China) Co, has been elected the sixth Shanghai “Star of Charity.” He is the only person to be so honored in Jiading District. Hartig has worked in Nanxiang for 18 years and is enthusiastic in public welfare undertakings. Under his advocacy, the charitable projects of “Fuchs Grows with You” and “Fuchs Love” were launched. He has also financed heart surgery for a number of children from poor areas in China.
