Cleaners make Jiading a nicer place to live

A TOTAL of 1,102 target areas in Jiading have been cleared out to greatly improve the urban landscape. Such tasks will extend throughout the year and become a routine item on the administrative agenda.
Greenery areas have been refreshed in once messy neighborhoods, with shacks along a street pulled down. Lanes have been cleared with materials that had been clogging up the space removed.
There used to be recurrent problems needing rectification so an inspection system was set up to ensure constant order in the area.
The cleaning team split into smaller units to carry out the work and the inspectors reported any subsequent issues.
The cleaning tasks will include greenery areas, foul smelling rivers and illegal construction.
The work will continue throughout the year to guarantee cleanliness and improved sanitation.
