Company sees driverless cars on the Horizon
HORIZON Robotics has begun the research and development of autonomous driving, or driverless cars, at Jiading Auto Innovation Harbor.
The firm, which has its headquarters in Beijing, boasts the world’s leading capability of algorithm development on deep learning decision-making and reasoning.
It integrates algorithms on high-performance, low-power and low-cost embedded artificial intelligence (AI) processors and platforms of both hardware and software.
Horizon Robotics currently offers solutions based on processors including ARM/FPGA and independently designs and develops Brain Processing Units (BPU), an innovative embedded AI processor architecture designed to provide complete and open AI solutions on devices.
The company’s core business is autonomous driving and smart life applications, and it has successfully launched the “Hugo” platform for driverless cars and the “Anderson platform” for smart life.
Since it was established just a year ago, Horizon Robotics has been collaborating with top international and domestic automotive and home appliances manufacturers and has successfully launched mass production products.
Horizon Robotics says it is also building an open embedded artificial intelligence ecosystem by working closely with various partners from home and abroad.
