District fast-tracks commercial projects

JIADING District will speed up construction of important commercial projects in Jiading New Town in 2013.
They include Xinhui Square, CITIC Pacific New City, Xinguang Department Store and Riyueguang Square.
Other projects that will be sped up include four special commercial streets such as Dongyun Street and Baoli Taipei Stylish Street.
Meanwhile, the district will also build 10 breakfast restaurants and 50 breakfast booths in the new town area, according to the 2013 Jiading Commercial Service and Market Management Conference on January 24.
Some outstanding groups and individuals, including Anting Town and Xinyingyuan Breakfast Restaurant Management Company, were given awards at the conference.
In 2012, Jiading established 32 commercial facilities in local villages, built three supermarkets, and constructed 20 breakfast restaurants, 120 breakfast booths, one modern food processing and distribution center.
It has also completed the renovation for 21 food markets.
