Jiading has mapped out its answer to the Shanghai’s strategy to develop the service, manufacturing, shopping and culture sectors.

Jiading is famous for its automotive culture as reflected in popular activities such as the annual China F1 Grand Prix and all sorts of derivative products.
With its 800 years of history, it is where the culture of Jiangnan (areas along the lower reaches of the Yangtze River) is deeply rooted. Represented by well-known scholars and with a rich atmosphere of study, the traditional culture of Jiading is highlighted by art forms such as calligraphy, painting, chess, seals, tea, cuisine, opera, traditional musical instruments and garden design.
