District to do 10 good deeds to benefit locals

JIADING District is sparing no efforts to achieve "10 good deeds" for its residents, mainly focused on emergency countermeasures, public health and social security.
The district will offer 26,000 jobs and 10,000 vocational training opportunities this year. By February, 3,063 jobs had already been provided and 3,381 people had benefited from the training program.
The under-construction six-story community center at Jiading New City will cover an area of almost 10,000 square meters. The first two floors will be set aside for banks, supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants. The third and fourth floors will be used as an activity center for senior residents and a health center. A large gymnasium will be located in the top two floors when the building is completed.
The district will present emergency kits to 30,000 households from the second part of this year.
Rescue volunteer teams have been set up across communities to draft escape schemes.
