Officials visited several hundred enterprises in the first quarter, actively searching for solutions to the problems.

Shanghai Guojia Packing Paper-products Co Ltd is an enterprise that specializes in packaging. During the second half of last year, it underwent a decrease in orders and a continuous slump in output and sales volume.

Learning of this, staff from the development zone contacted the Warom Group and Shanghai Damao Luggage Co Ltd, both of which have a demand for product packaging. Their cooperation with Guojia was intended to reduce logistic costs.

Warom Group used to buy materials for packaging from Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. It is now using Guojia's products.

Xu Yali, who is in charge of Guojia, said that the cooperation with the Warom Group had increased its orders by 10 percent, which reduced pressure on the company.
