Explosion-proof products gain international seal of approval

PETROLEUM is indispensable in every aspect of people’s life, yet it has special safety requirements as the risks include burning and explosion. Explosion-proof electric apparatus is essential and Warom Technology Inc Co in Xuhang, Jiading is a leading supplier of such products.
Listed in Shanghai in May, Warom has been expanding its business along Belt and Road countries, actively engaged in turning from “Made in China” to “Innovated in China” in terms of products, technology, brand and standards. So far it has set up agencies in Germany, France, Russia, Kazakhstan, Iran and other countries.
As the first enterprise in the field to go abroad, Warom became international in 2003. Starting from scratch in the global market, its annual sales overseas have reached 300 million yuan (US$44 million) with the network spreading the Middle East, the Far East, Africa, Europe and America.
“The petro mechanical industry has its own strict standards on safety in different countries,” said Zheng Xiaorong, vice president of the company.
Overseas clients pay particular attention to quality in explosion-proof products. Not long ago, engineers from Middle East countries visited the enterprise and inquired in detail about the manufacturing procedure, the examination methods, quality standards and dealers.
Warom products have been qualified by international quality attestations including FM/UL in the US, ATEX in the European Union, CU-TR in Russia, INMETRO in Brazil and the international IECEx standard. Domestically it has been recognized as a national demonstration enterprise of safe export quality.
Meanwhile, international fairs are an important channel to promote Warom’s products and services. This year it has attended fairs in Japan, Germany, Iran, Egypt, Nigeria and other countries.
