Gardens of delight bloom in the spring

THE beauty of spring is in full bloom in Jiading District.
Until May 2, a peony exhibition at Guyi Garden features more than 2,500 peonies of more than 80 foreign and domestic varieties.
At the Lijiang Farm Garden in Jiading Industrial Park, the 2nd Lijiang Farm Garden Culture Tourist Festival features colorful blossom as well as activities including making straw sandals, making rice cakes and searching for edible wild herbs. Visitors can also adopt fruit trees.
The garden has spent about 3 million yuan (US$481,540.93) on improving the tourist service. The kitchen and canteen can now hold over 600 tourists for dinner.
