Getting to grips with the cultural differences

THE conventional way of greeting each other in China may puzzle a lot of foreigners as we are used to saying "have you had meals?" instead of a simple and direct "hello." But every nation has its own customs bearing unique cultures and traditions. You'll find it quite interesting if you have a closer look at them.

Jiading District boasts a long history and abounds in cultural traditions. Quite a few foreigners become interested in the traditions and would like to invite more people to join them. However, some foreigners don't have a clear idea over the traditions and that can often cause much fun stemming from simple misunderstandings.
