GOLF, tennis, swimming, football, basketball, snooker, table tennis -- there are sundry sports activities in Jiading District. So let's get sweating.
Golf
Situated in Huating Town, Jiading District, Shanghai Xiehe Golf Club occupies an area of 95 hectares. Designed by Kentarosato, a Japanese golf course designer, it is equipped with a unique telescopic lighting system for playing at night. There are different terrains on the course, varying from small mounds, valleys, rock walls, bridges, bunkers and other strategic obstacles, plus a river running parallel to several holes. All these design elements result in a challenging and exciting golf course.
Jiading Yihao Golf Driving Range has a standard practice course with 32 bays. There are also professional tutors available to train individuals or groups. Inside the driving range, there is a classroom where club members can communicate with each other. A range of branded clothing and equipments is also on sale.

Tennis
Situated inside Jiading Stadium on Xincheng Road, Jiading Tennis Court is only about 500 meters from the Jiading exit of the Shanghai-Jiading Expressway. There are four courts inside the stadium, open until 10pm during the summer for the convenience of sports lovers.

Located inside Jiading Sports Center, Jiading Shengjie Snooker Club has the latest European-rules' nine-ball pool tables and snooker tables. The club with European and American-style decor is equipped with professional staff who will position the balls. A selection of cool drinks is offered at the bar.
Shanghai Chuanqi Snooker Co Ltd is not only in charge of the daily operation of the snooker club, but also engages in the promotion of snooker culture, holding regular snooker competitions around the country and arranging training for professional snooker players in preparation for international competitions.

Swimming
There is no other sport more refreshing in summer than swimming. This year, there are 14 swimming pools in Jiading open to the public. Some of them are also catering specifically for teenagers through a series of training sessions and competitions. For example, there are training courses in Nanxiang Swimming Pool in July and August, priced 250 yuan for each course. Local residents can apply to: Rm 304, B Bldg, 737 Yiyuan Rd. The trainings offered by Jiading Putong Primary School cost 100 yuan and 250 yuan each course based on the number of sessions. Jiading Stadium Swimming Pool is also offering such training courses.
