A greenery belt will be added along S5 Hujia Highway, officials from Jiading Construction and Traffic Committee said. As one of the main arteries connecting central Shanghai to Jiading New Town, the S5 highway has a length of 11.3 kilometers. Along the both sides of the highway, the green area will reach about 670,000 square meters. The project will be completed this year.
