THE fourth Inno-China Entrepreneurship Competition kicked off in Jiading on April 7. Set up in 2013 for overseas Chinese to start a business in China, it provides a financing and publicizing platform for scientific innovation projects and support for high-level business talent. The previous three competitions saw more than 1,000 projects take part and many received financing of between 500,000 yuan (US$81,967) and 10 million yuan after the competition was over. The competitors were overseas students or Chinese people who had returned home.
