Insurance policy covers residents over 70

Jiading residents are covered by a new insurance policy after it was signed at the end of last year.
All the Jiading families can get insurance coverage of up to 8,000 yuan (US$1311.48) in the case of natural disasters, including storms, torrential rain, lightning, explosions or snow.
Residents aged over 70, who are estimated to number around 80,000 in the district, can get subsidy of up to 3,000 yuan in the case of malignant tumors.
The policy was signed between Jiading district government and China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co.
