An intelligent parking guiding system will soon cover the entire Jiading District.
The underground parking lots now under construction at Jiading Cultural Center Jiading Library and Ziqidonglai Greenbelt as well as the ground parking places on Gaotai Road have been involved in the intelligent parking guiding system, and are expected to be completed around October and put into use by the end of this year, according to Jiading New Town Development Company.
The information of parking lots in Jiading New Town will be collected in the system and open to the public, so that citizens will know how many parking places are available before they arrive.
The project will eventually involve all the 30,000 odd parking places at all public buildings, office buildings and government buildings in Jiading New Town. Parking lots of some well-managed residential areas will also be included.
After the system is completed, instant parking information will be published and updated on the traffic guiding screens nearby.
The intelligent parking system will also be connected to the cellphone terminal.
