Juyuan Incubator helping ideas hatch

JIADING'S Juyuan Enterprise Incubator of Internet of Things has helped more than 30 business in the zone to have 25 patents granted in its two-year operation.

Besides the services including policies, financial subsidies and venues provided by the other industrial parks, Juyuan Incubator avails scientific services.

For example, it has helped carry out the operation between Shanghai Zuo'an Xinhui Electronic Technology Company, the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Machines, and Shanghai Institute of Ceramics of Chinese Academy of Science.

As a result, Zuo'an Xinhui can do many experiments at the institutes instead of going abroad.

Its intelligent digital UHT ceramics oxygen sensor invented together with the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics achieved great success.

With the support of the Juyuan Incubator, Zuo'an Xinhui has been granted 10 intellectual property rights and two trademark copyrights in the past two years. Now it is aiming at going public.

The Chip World of Internet of Things has been established in the park to commercialize the scientific technologies.

Juyuan Incubator provides 22 services in 10 fields. It has established an investment company with Jiading's State-owned Assets Commission to set up a 100 million yuan (US$16.13 million)development fund for scientific enterprises.

It also provides house rental services for employees.
