LED Life Experience Hall opens

THE LED Life Experience Hall has been built recently in Jiangqiao Town. It will be open as a scientific education base for public soon.
Located in Shanghai Electronics Shopping Mall, the LED Life Experience Hall is built by the National Semiconductor Lighting Application System and Engineering Technology Research Center. It shows how LED light works. For example, an LED light on a water faucet can kill viruses and purify water while a LED UV light in a refrigerator can sterilize and keep food fresh.
LED facilities are made of semiconductor materials, which can directly transfer electric power into luminous energy, and transfer electric signals into optical signals.
A 15-watt LED light can reach the luminance equal to a 150-watt incandescent light.
