QST Corporation Limited in Jiading’s Juyuan New Area said it and Hua Hong Semiconductor Limited have successfully launched an independent-patent single-chip three-axis gyroscope in China. A gyroscope is the most challenging product among motion sensors and it used to be monopolized by several international giants, said Xie Zhifeng, president of QST, which developed the new product for smart mobile terminals such as smartphones, tablet PCs, smart watches, intelligent wearable devices and application of the Internet of Things.
