Lei’s floral business is blooming

A street corner florist in Jiading District is where one young entrepreneur began his business.
Lei Yinuo, who opened For You Flower in 2014, has become a rising star in industry after cooperating with well-known cosmetics brands and sports fairs including Sekkisei, Shanghai Rolex Masters and Shanghai Longines Global Champions Tour.
At the 25-year-old’s shop, flowers and exotic ornaments are carefully laid out and an iron bicycle at the gate attracts attention.
Last October, a customer accidentally broke an expensive vase at his shop but Lei didn’t even think about asking for compensation.
That attitude touched the customer and led to a contract to supply flower arrangements for the 2015 Shanghai Rolex Masters. The massive 100-kilogram bouquet that Lei and his team made for the ATP tournament led to another contract to make bouquets and a signature wall at the Shanghai Longines Global Champions Tour this year.
“Entrepreneurship is not only about generosity but needs more determination and courage as well as strong capability for developing innovative solutions,” said Lei.
“Only when you conquer difficulties one after another, will you make progress,” he added.
Early last year cosmetics brand Sekkisei decided to cooperate with For You Flower and Lei’s team provided Sekkisei with 2,000 gift packages in two months for its Valentine’s Day promotion.
