Library among major projects proceeding smoothly

All 42 major projects in Jiading District are proceeding smoothly, and eight have almost been completed, according to government officials.
One of the projects is the renovation of the library at Jiading No. 1 Middle School. As planned, it has been expanded and renovated, both inside and outside. The total area is some 53,280 square meters.
Jiading Workers Cultural Activity Center is also in the final stages of construction.
Currently 70 percent of interior decoration and 85 percent of outdoor work has been completed.
It will replace the old Jiading Club and Workers Cinema, which, built in the 1980s, is out of date.
The new center has complete facilities for training, sports, cinema, conventions and rest.
Meanwhile, the infrastructure facilities in Yunxiang Large Residential Area for relocated residents have been completed. The electricity supply is connected, and 95 percent of the roads and 85 percent of walls surrounding the area have been built.
Its contractor Jiaofa Group has won an outstanding construction structure award from municipal authorities thanks to its attention to quality within a tight construction time limit.
