A delegation led by John Tregidga, mayor of Hauraki District in New Zealand, visited Jiading on April 6. He and Ma Chunlei, Party secretary of Jiading District signed a new agreement on friendly exchanges as well as cooperation. Cooperation between the two sides dates back to April 2001, when the two districts signed an Agreement on Friendly Exchanges and Cooperation. Ma and Tregidga planted trees at Jiading's Zhongguang High School, Experimental School Affiliated to SISU, and No. 1 High School to mark the 15th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between the two districts.
