The new environmental-friendly water paint factory of Axalta Shanghai started construction in Jiading Industrial Zone on January 10. The factory is expected to be put into production in 2015 with an annual output of more than 25,000 tons of paints. Axalta now has 35 factories and more than 14,000 employees all over the world. The total sales income reaches US$4.3 billion annually. The water paint products of the Axalta factory in Jiading will be used for automobile manufacturing.
