Pay by hour driving school

ANTING Driving School is the only one in Jiading District to practice a “pay by hour” service to guarantee driving time and reduce the cost.
Its cars are equipped with GPS, POS and fingerprint identifiers, which enable learners to accumulate enough experience and pay on an hourly basis.
The cost for non-peak hours is 120 yuan (US$20) an hour while at weekends it’s 150 yuan. The average cost for completing training in this school is around 6,800 yuan, 700 yuan less than other schools.
“The price is not the only advantage, the key is each trainee drives the car alone instead of three to four learners in one car at the same time, thus guaranteeing practice time,” a learner surnamed Wang said.
Getting into the car, the learner starts by simply swiping a trainee card and touching a fingerprint identifier. The school uses cloud computing to store driving data and videos. After the lesson, the trainees swipe the POS with their bank cards to make their payment.
The school has over 400 learners.
